The British company MINI has introduced the most powerful modification of new generation wagon Clubman, which in the beginning of October will be exhibited at the stand of the company in Paris.
Charged version of the British station wagon which received the John Cooper Works (JWC) prefix to the name, is equipped with four-cylinder petrol turbo engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters and 231 hp (350 Nm). This engine is capable to disperse wagon from zero to the first 100 km / h in just 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 238 km / h. Depending on the configuration, it can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The basic model of MINI Clubman John Cooper Works includes “All4” all-wheel drive system, which works in conjunction with the torque distribution systems and dynamic stability control, due to this wagon has improved, compared with the standard version, maneuverability at passage of turns and during acceleration.
Also, charged Clubman received better and recustomized suspension system, electronic imitation of blocking of differential, brake system from Brembo company, as well as light-alloy 18-inch rims. As an option the wagon can be equipped with 19-inch wheels and adaptive shock absorbers.
The sales of new modification of the British wagon is expected in December this year.
